Dear Borderbrook Families,

I am aware of the adverse weather forecast expected over the next few days. At present, there are a number of conflicting reports for our area, ranging from heavy snowfall to periods of rain.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will inform you as soon as possible should we need to make the decision to close the school in order to ensure the safety of our children and staff. As always, our aim is to keep the school open; however, our priority must be safety.

I appreciate that receiving definite plans as early as possible is important for families. Unfortunately, weather conditions can change very quickly and decisions sometimes need to be made at short notice.

We are hopeful that conditions will remain manageable, with rain rather than snow, and that we will be able to welcome all our children into school tomorrow.
